presented by Heather Long
Join Hoya/Kenko Tokina USA, Inc. Ambassador and photographer Heather Long for instruction and inspiration that will change the way you look at photography, what you can do with you own camera and capturing the beauty of landscapes in a photograph. Great landscape photography begins with a passion for the great outdoors. Let her show you how to capture the beauty of the scenery you love, in a photograph.
Heather’s experience working with the National Park Conservation Association, Nikon USA, and Hoya/Kenko Tokina USA, Inc., will introduce you to methods that capture the wonders of the natural world with a camera. Her class includes a field presentation about creative ideas and technical skills, teaching you her approach to composition, subject and light, along with showing you how to improve the quality of your shots through ISO, aperture and shutter. The special field workshop session will be held at a carefully selected photographic destination close to the conference location. Please be sure to pack warm clothing and plan to be outside for a few hours. The course will conclude with a critique of images submitted by attendees, quick overviews of workflow and editing techniques back at the conference hotel.
If you’re passionate about nature photography and want to improve your own photographic vision, you will be inspired by this unique course.
